Our mission is to create custom, practical, actionable insights about your horse, extracted from equine genomic, pedigree and performance data of interest.
Given the problem statement of interest to you, and based on a detailed technical analysis of agreed upon data sources, we first share our findings in customized audio podcast format (see demos below).
Next, we discuss with you possible action plans and strategies to incorporate these findings into the breeding, training and/or management of your horse.

Who We Are
For more than 20 years, Liviu Radu Totir has worked on the development and deployment of mathematical models and software systems to convert genomic, pedigree and performance data into actionable insights for an industry leading plant breeding organization. In October 2025 Radu has founded Equine Breeding Advisors LLC to help horse breeders and trainers extract value from the wealth of genomic, pedigree and performance data available to them. Radu has earned a PhD in Animal Breeding and Genetics from Iowa State University in 2002 and has a deep passion for horse breeding.

Since 2025, Equine Breeding Advisors LLC has helped individual horse owners and a private business that owns more than 100 horses convert genomic, pedigree and performance data in actionable insights.
